Lenovo has announced its new IdeaPad U510 Ultrabook at IFA 2012, becoming the first 15-inch ultrabook company.
This equipment, which comes with Windows 8 preinstalled system, weighs 2.2 kg and has a thickness of 21 millimeters. Its 15.6-inch screen offers a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and the team goes to market with a processor that can be configured up to a Core i7 Ivy Bridge, 8 GB of RAM and hard drive to choose between 500, 750 or 1 GB TB and optionally an SSD of 24/32 GB as caching. There will also be USB 2.0, USB 3.0, VGA video outputs and HDMI, all this along with a built-in SD card reader.
The device has a battery that provides up to 6 hours of continuous use, and will go on sale next September at a price that starts from 699 euros.
